As Light Up the Lake enters into its 3rd year, changes are being made in order to keep this an annual tradition for the community. This year Light Up the Lake has partnered with the LaPorte Lake Association.
The Lake Association is a local non-profit and they will be holding the firework fund for the coming years ahead. The Lake Association will be a great partner as they contribute a substantial amount to preserving our lakes in LaPorte through treatment of weeds and keeping our lakes clean for all to enjoy. Please consider becoming a member!
Light Up the Lake is privately funded through members of our community. This years show is planned for Saturday, July 4th at 9:15pm. The display will be shot on North Pine Lake. Viewing the show can be seen from the local parks surrounding Pine Lake or by boat.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with local Mad Bomber Fireworks once again to create a show you’ll never forget! Every dollar donated goes directly to the pyrotechnics of the show. And every dollar donated is 100% tax deductible! Large or small, every donation helps to Light Up the Lake. All other event procedures, such as security, marketing, cleanup, etc., are covered through volunteers. The expense of fireworks can be costly; that is why every donation goes strictly to the show.
